Project 52: Week 1 - New

Happy 2016! It's been a while since I blogged! Too long! It's a new year which means it's time for a new Project 52. I had to quit back in September when I switched website hosting companies. The learning curve to designing my new website and the lack of time to get it done (which is still a work in progress) meant putting my blog on hold. But I'm ready to jump back in.

This first week's theme is New. We could use a new technique, a new toy, or anything that fits the theme. Santa was good to me this Christmas and left quite a few new books under the tree. One of my goals for 2016 is to work on the creative side of my craft and developing my style. A couple of these books I hope will help me on my journey. I also love looking at the work of fellow pet photographers, and you'll see a few titles from photographers whose work I admire. And lastly, we will be following the lessons for one of these books for the project 52 this year. To learn more, you'll have to stop back next week when we start with lesson 1.

If you haven't followed along with me for Project 52, you're in for a treat. I, along with several other pet photographers from all over the world, post our blogs at the same time - Friday mornings. At the end of my blog will be a link to the next blog. Keep clicking on the links to see everyone else's interpretation of the theme until you get back here. I hope you'll join me on this adventure!

No blog post is complete without a photo of a 4 legged fur-baby! This is my rescue puppy Kita sporting her NEW Penn State dog collar that Santa Paws put under the tree for her. We're die hard loyal Penn State fans and what better way for Kita to show her support than with a some fancy neckwear!
