Love Your Pet Day

I recently came across an article claiming that science shows watching cute animals is good for your health. Now, I didn’t need science to tell me that, but this does verify what I already suspected.

A study conducted in the United Kingdom, found that watching videos and photos of cute furry beings, reduces blood pressure, heart rate and anxiety. Researchers studied 19 subjects during winter exams, a particularly high stress time. After just 30 minutes, every participant had a positive reaction.

That click you hear - that’s me unfollowing all the news sites, political accounts and brand companies trying to sell me their product. I’ll just stick to following the furry creatures from now on, thank you!

Today is Love Your Pet day. Now you have one more reason (scientific at that!) to be grateful for the furry friends in your life. And if you’ve been thinking about starting a social media account featuring your furry BFF’s, maybe this is your sign. After all, some of these pets have quite the following, not to mention lives!

How do you celebrate the pets in your life!? Comment below and tell me!
