Project 52: Week 5 - Fitness

This week's Project 52 theme is Fitness, specifically, what does your pet do for exercise. Since Izzy is still a young dog, she is very active and gets antsy if she doesn't get any exercise for a couple of days. She and I train in agility and attend classes once a week. We try to take walks daily, and from time to time, we get together with other doggie friends of hers so they can all play together. In the warmer months, we head down to the creek to wade in the water and once a year, we go to the local swimming pool where the dogs get to swim one afternoon before the township closes the pool for the season. But since it's in the middle of winter and we're in the midst of several snowstorms, it's been hard to walk, agility classes have been cancelled and we haven't been able to meet up with any of our friends. So I took Izzy to a park behind our house and tossed her a couple of toys for her to retrieve. It's hard to run in 10 inches of snow, but she had fun. Plus, I was anxious to give my new lens a spin. Here's the result of our afternoon in the snow...
